Class Schedule

This BLS for Healthcare Provider classroom course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

Audience: For healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, physicians, nurses, nursing students, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and others who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a BLS course.

Upon successful completion of written test and skills demonstration, students receive an American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider E-Card, valid for two years.

 

BLS Skills Verification consists of simulated cases and is the final step in obtaining your BLS certifications after taking 'Heartcode BLS' found at http://www.onlineaha.org/courses. Students are required to bring their certificate of completion to class. 

ACLS Skills Verification consists of simulated cases in a team approach and is the final step in obtaining your ACLS certifications after taking 'Heartcode ACLS' found at http://www.onlineaha.org/courses. Students will be allowed to practice scenarios only as time allows before their skills verification. Students are required to bring their certificate of completion to class. 

 

 

 

 

If you have lost your card, please send us an email to info@healthcarecerts.com . We will be able to send you a new card after verifying your past attendance. Please include your name, phone number, address, class attended, date of class attended. There is a $25 fee for a card replacement.
