This Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider classroom-based course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED and BVM, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

Audience: For healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, physicians, nurses, nursing students, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, travel nurses, and others who must have a credential (card) by the American Heart Association (AHA) documenting successful completion of a BLS course. All certications of completion are valid for 2 years since the issue date.

Upon successful completion of the written test, and skills demonstration, students receive an American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider E-Card which is recongnized throughout the US, and Canada.
